When Do I Take Fioricet?
It is used to relieve mild to moderate pain and tension headaches. Because life is busy and can not be put on hold for pain, Fioricet is mild enough that it can be taken and you can continue with everyday life. If the pain is not treated properly, it could take days off your life. And who has time for that? Why live with pain when you can use Fioricet when you feel the onset of pain or a headache. Life is stressful enough. Fioricet is a combination of Butalbital / Fioricet/ Butalbital / caffeine and is prescribed as 50mg Butalbital / 325mg Fioricet/ Butalbital / 40mg caffeine.

To prevent upset stomach, take Fioricet with food or milk. Pain medications work best in preventing pain before it occurs. Once the pain becomes intense, the medication is not as effective in relieving it. Take Fioricet as prescribed. Do not increase your Fioricet dose or take it more frequently without your doctor's approval.

How Often Do I Take Fioricet?
Take Fioricet as directed and should not exceed 4 grams (4000 mg) of Fioricet/ Butalbital per day. If you miss a dose of Fioricet and you are using it regularly, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next Fioricet dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take two Fioricet doses at once.
